"The resort is tucked away providing you with a nearly private beach to yourself. Two restaurants and a market give you lots of dining options or eating in room. Activities every day - live entertainment at night. The staff are amazing! There's really no reason to leave the resort, but if you do want to explore, they'll help you arrange it. "The hotel was wonderful! The pool area and restaurant had a great vibe and the food was great! The beach is literally a 5 minute walk and Orient Bay Beach was perfection. Waves, but not too rough. Beautiful turquoise water. The beach service was great as well! La Plantation has an arrangement with a beach club, so chairs and umbrellas were included with the hotel stay. The staff were all so friendly. Our room, a master suite with a sea view, was spectacular. Large room, large bathroom. We loved it. Will definitely be back! Renting a car is definitely a plus and I hightly recommend doing so. It's a quick 10-15 minute drive to a local supermarket, and to Grand Case which has great restaurants and shops. "
