"If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful location it is difficult to imagine a better choice than La Casa del Molino, at the same time it is a quick drive down this gorgeous valley to the lively towns on the coast. Las Palmas is only a fifty minute drive on an excellent road. Going in the opposite direction up the valley there are more lovely drives to explore through the hills.For a small village there is a surprising choice of restaurants nearby but it is hard to beat eating on your own private terrace. This terrace is beautiful with a choice of ways to relax beside the lovely and well kept swimming pool. To sit at the cocktail hour watching the sun go down behind the hills opposite (I was visiting in winter) creating a pink silhouette is pure magic. If you are lucky, as I was, you will have a bird singing to you most evenings at this time.My partner died recently and I was there alone but I know he would have loved it as much as I did and it is perfect accommodation for a couple.Ulla, the German host has lived in the area for many years. As well as speaking German and Spanish she speaks excellent English. She lives on the premises and is a perfect host. Guests are left alone in privacy but she is always available if needed."

"This was in many ways one of the best villas I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed in lots!). The communication before travel and upon arrival was exceptional. The villa was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious (we were a group of 4 celebrating a major birthday) with a lovely pool and an extremely well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen, all in amazing gardens and with stunning mountain views. Mogan has a good supermarket and it is a (rather twisty!) 15 minute drive down to the larger facilities of Puerto de Mogan. The only downside (and the reason that I have gone for 4 stars not 5) is the dogs. Now, I love dogs, have owned them all my life, and am sat looking at my furry friend as I type this. The near neighbours own dogs, that live in cages outdoors. They bark, more or less incessantly, ALL DAY - indeed I got up at 2am for a drink and they were still barking then - they are loud enough that even with the doors and windows shut you can hear them! It's like water torture. I nearly went mad at one point, and it meant that we ended up spending much less time at the villa than we would have liked. Such a shame."

"This is a superb holiday home with excellent facilities and a beautiful pool. The house was spotless and the terrace/pool were cleaned every day. Tino met us on arrival and thereafter his parents looked after us with very generous gifts of a range of fruits and fresh eggs. They were very friendly but never intrusive. We would have loved to make a return booking but appreciate why it was already booked. "

"The villa has it all, easy booking and getting in. Quick responses from Micheal when needed. Only thing you need a hire car. Its out of the way with no real local shops but that said its quiet and the scenery is amazing. The whole family really did not want to leave"

"We stayed in property 2 for a week and it was just perfect. Elba and her family were really easy to communicate and connect with, the place was spotless with all the extras we needed like kettle, iron, charging ports ….. the grounds are also beautiful with lots of fruits growing and access to a walking route right from the back of the property. The pool is also great with dedicated at areas for each property (although we had to ourselves all week!). Easy access to into Mogan and Peurto Mogan - we had a car but there is a bus stop right outside for this. You can hear the road traffic but others idyllic."
