"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for...

"Great apartment up on a hillside with a sweeping view of Oaxaca city. The unit is comfortable, well appointed and has a top floor terrace, very nice for enjoying morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the city. Emily and her father, Anthony are wonderful hosts. "We had a great stay at Laura’s apartment. It was super clean, the linens smelled fresh, the kitchen had everything we needed. We traveled with our 2 kids under 8 yr old and having a washer was so helpful. Also appreciate the closed patio where the kids could play and the gated street. The location is a 20-25 min walk downtown to El Llano, centro, botanic garden, etc. Taxis are easy to hail in front, only about 5 USD per trip. We had a few questions once we arrived and hosts were prompt to reply...
