Very quiet and serene atmosphere in the very centre of the old city. The staff are impeccably helpful and courteous. We were in a spacious and comfortable room, but I am aware that some of the rooms, though spacious, have no significant windows and could potentially feel claustrophobic. Not ours, fortunately which was perfect.

Really nice choice, depending on the room you choose. Some rooms are right on the dining courtyard and you will hear everything from inside as the building is stone with no insulation. That said, you will not hear any street noise. Pool was a huge selling point.

The property is super well located in the city's heart and close to fine dining, touristic places, and museums. I liked it very much. Hotel de la parra is perfectly situated on a quiet street close to the main square. The staff is super friendly and helpful with scheduling a taxi pick-up for our red-eye flight. They were right on time. This really is one of the best deals we've seen in Oaxaca city! We had the suite with a large bathtub and huge bathroom. Also slept like a log in the king sized bed and comfy pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

Very average property. Nice small pool area surrounded by high walls. Fair gradens around the pool. Rooms are average. A little dated and tired. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. The hotel is quaint and charming. I loved the “old world” charm of the hotel. The pool area and the breakfast courtyard are simply beautiful. The hotel is quiet, so great for sleeping. Staff is very helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect, very walkable to all the great restaurants and market in center. I would love to visit there again. I highly recommend this hotel.
