"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "Lovely large room and en-suite. Dog-friendly. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast. Difficult to open windows and the rooms are accessible from the back of the pub so you have to go outside if you want to go to the pub which isn’t ideal if it’s cold/rainy. Overall though a fabulous stay. "

"Had a great stay. Breakfast was great and the one meal we had was delicious. I'm a coeliac and they were very helpful. Had a delicious icecream sundae for pudding. The staff were amazing .Kieran and all the girls were lovely. We've stayed a few years and have noticed room's have gone a bit tired and bathroom needs regrouting . But a lovely stay as always. Can't say enough how great the staff are. "

"Lovely building could use a little redecoration the bar and restaurant was so nice with an open fireplace food delicious but very large portions that must result in a lot of waste staff helpful and friendly would definitely visit again "

"Nice place .few points could do with some thought .pillows all very hard. Should have two of each to accomode different needs. For the price (£170) would have expected a decent level coffee offer and maybe a small fridge . As a frequent traveler this would be expected at this price level . Shower dispensers hadn't been filled fully . "

"I was really impressed with the quickness of the host to reply to any of my queries, particularly one around using the oven. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the style of the bathrooms. Only downsides are that the property isn’t near any local shops. The nearest shop is a petrol station. "

Spotlessly clean, and a lovely welcome from the owner which included a vase of flowers, some cookies, and a personal message in scrabble letters on the fridge! Everything you need is provided for. "This cottage is in a fantastic setting but is looking a little tired and in need of a good clean and sort-out! The lounge was cramped as old sofa still in place when new ones bought, and also an additional large leather chair seemed unnecessary and made it even more cramped. "

"Always impressed with this hotel. Service and friendliness of all the staff is second to none Great selection of choice on the breakfast and evening meal menus. Room was spotless, as was the entire hotel. I will always try and stay here as it's a stones throw from the city, but offers excellent value and great staff. Thanks "

"This hotel is great , ive stayed here numerous times due to work. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the pool and spa really are a added bonus. The rooms are clean,warm and have a fridge which is good when you are staying all week. The car park is big enough so never struggled to park my van. The only issue I have had is due to the allowance i have for working away there are times when i have had to find other accommodation due to the price fluctuating, if it wasnt for that then myself and others would probably be here constantly for the next 2 years. "
