"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

"Enjoyed our stay in Tarvin! The cottage was quaint and comfortable. The amenities were perfect for a weeks stay. It was winter so no garden in bloom but it was lovely, well maintained and I enjoyed some bird watching. "

"I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended "

"Used this home as a base for a weekend in the Peak District, with 5 other couples. The building is stunning, kitchen is well stocked with appliances and other items. 2 fridge/freezers which were handy. Lots of spaces to relax and the hot tub was fantastic. WiFi is poor in wider areas of the house but excellent within the room of the house the modem is in. However, this is expected in a building of this size and didn’t ruin the weekend at all. Fanastic space to celebrate with friends for....

"Such a unique and awesome property steeped in history and character. Although the weather was horrendous, we stsyed in, played some board games that were available and made some meals and had some quality time together. The decor was amazing and well kept. Fully equipped kitchen with some luxury cutlery and the hosts left some essentials such as eggs, bread, milk, cereals and biscuits. Definitely worth the money. Will stay again one day I hope! "

"Fantastic place, great location, exceptional staff and service. We were received warmheartedly by the staff and their service along the stay was amazing especially Alfie, Evelina, Ishoy, and Ebenezer. We also had a small issue with hot water (my fault), and Dima from Maintenance went up in less than 5 minutes and had it fixed. Last but not least, the house keeping was phenomenal thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team there. 10/10 and I’ll definitely return. "
