"We had issues with leaking and didn’t have a sofa or bed for the 2nd night. The lady we’d been in comms with throughout check in and who had been texting us all the rules then totally ignored us. "The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District. The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs! Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt. There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy. "We decided to stay at the cabin as it was relatively close to Alten towers. The location was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. On arrival we noticed there was a code lock but hadn't got a code to open the door. I called the owner and she was abrupt and gave me the code.
