"Excellent location. Free Parking. Right near the sea front and a few mins walk from the Hovercraft, Catamaran and island train station and bus terminal. And only about 15 to 20 mins from the car ferry, by car. Our room was superb, and spotlessly clean. We had a room with a view facing the sea front which was great. Staff were superb, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. 10 out of 10 and we are looking forward to staying again. "

"We have visited this property a couple of times before booking a long weekend stay. I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food! The room was clean and comfortable, the tiniest issue I had (it’s really small!) is that the bathroom door could not be closed and the fridge in the room would cone on periodically (which for a light sleeper can be a bit of an issue). "A lovely old 'proper' village pub. Great service and food (just the right sized portions for dinner and breakfast as well. Room was initially warm (we were fine in January without the radiator on all weekend) and the mattress was very soft and bouncy (for us at least compared to what we are used to). "

"I booked the property going solely from the reviews and was not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The food choices and service was good and i enjoyed eating there. I was not really expecting much as the cost was very reasonable but was impressed. The staff were really good and very pleasant. This is a town centre pub so noise may be an issue at times but during our stay it was only evident on the friday night (before xmas) which still was not a problem. I would definitely stay...
