"I highly recommend Hostel El Gallo for anyone who is looking for a quiet stay in a clean room in the heart of Old Town without breaking the bank. The room is clearly has been recently renovated. The bathroom is all stone and the shower features both a falling water shower and a handheld shower hand. I would say the body wash was good but shampoo not so, and no hair conditioner. "Smooth and seamless check-in. The host was there ready for us. We arrived early but the room was ready and we were given the room keys. The hotel was simple but immaculately clean with fresh decoration. The room was too, fairly compact but everything seemed new and spotlessly clean. Tremendous value, we will definitely stay here when we visit Nerja."

"The actual accomodation is generous but it really disappoints in the kitchen which is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer, toaster. BUT no plug for the sink, no kettle, no washing up brush, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets. The dishwasher has no salt or water softener. With very little spend Ona would really improve the facility."
