"This hotel is basically a hostel and was just ok. The room we booked was on the third level and there was no air conditioning and it was very very hot. It was a short walk to our "guest house" along cobble stone streets but finding the check in counter at another location was difficult for our driver. Room was very bare bones but ok in cleanliness. "Radisson Blu is an excellent value. The room was large and had nice features. The lobby likewise was large with an excellent-looking restaurant and bar. We didn't try either. The property is getting a bit shabby and needs a higher quality of tradesmanship for minor blemishes. I would not hesitate to stay here again"

Sisters cruise trip and Lisbon stay

"We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount. The bell boy took our luggage up, explained the various room switches, offered to get us extra coffee/tea/water. The room was large and airy, the furnishings new and the bed most comfortable. We would stay again in Lumen. "

"This is a great property located directly next to the airport. While there are shuttles every 15 min, you could walk to the terminal if necessary. Despite its proximity to the airport, it is quiet. The breakfast begins at 2am to accommodate all flights and it is substantial. "
