"This place was a pleasant surprise! The camping area is huge, spotless, and super safe. We stayed in a cozy 2-bedroom standalone suite. It had everything we needed - everything was clean, organized, and totally functional. We parked our car right in the camp for free. We didn’t need the shuttle service because it’s just a short walk to the bus station, where we hopped on a bus to Venice. One night, it poured buckets outside, but the rooms were completely dry. We could hear the raindrops tapping on the roof, but it didn’t bother us at all. It felt like camping, and it was an incredible, 5-star experience. "

"Wonderful location if you want to be in the thick of everything. We were within walking distance to everything and the staff was wonderful. Fun little terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and the hotel had Venice charm. Tapestry furnished walls and tons of character. "

"Hotel Cavalletto was absolutely beautiful. We had a room right on the canal overlooking the Gondola’s. The breakfast included was continental but there was hot scrambled egg, bacon and sausage available also. The staff were more than friendly and helpful, and nothing we asked was too much. We did have to move room on our first day due to a small air conditioning issue, but the staff moved us swiftly and made our stay extra special. I will definitely return to this hotel when I return to the beautiful city of Venice, and Hotel Cavalletto will be where I stay."

"Great location a couple of blocks off of San Marco but quiet and easy to find. Rooms are spacious and serviced is great. Excellent breakfast buffet. Near transportation stops and easy to reach from train station. "

We requested connected rooms, and not only did they accommodate this, but they also gave us an amazing upgrade, which was such a pleasant surprise. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the entire hotel had a warm, elegant atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. We also arranged a private transfer through the hotel, and it was completely seamless. The third-party company they worked with was excellent—professional, punctual, and exactly the kind of high-quality service you’d expect from a hotel like this. Every interaction with the staff was lovely, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making our stay special. From the smooth logistics to the little thoughtful touches, everything added up to an amazing experience. This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!"
