"Tiny, quaint, cabin. Loved the setting and the staff were really helpful. Could use some repairs on the flooring in the bathroom and the carpet was badly stained. "We stayed in two different locations in Cooke City for a recent back packing trip in the Beartooth Wilderness. The cabin was a great place for us to land after getting out of the woods for a week. Very comfortable beds, clean facility, and nice shower. We did not use much of the kitchenette space but it was well stocked with cooking materials if needed. The check-in/out process was easy and I would stay here again in a return visit to the area. "

"We loved staying here! My only complaint is that the bathroom was downstairs & the toilet was upstairs. Nice location! It was close to Haden Vally. The villages near this property were very cutie and we met a lot of wonderful people & had a wonderful time. Would come back again!"

"Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious...
