"We booked another hotel walking in and it was old and outdated, nothing like the pictures. We left without checking in and reserved the Contessa while still in the other hotels lobby. When we arrived at Contessa, greeted by friendly valet, walked in to a beautiful lobby with a Mariachi band playing. Check in was easy, hotel was everything we hoped for and much more. Staying at the Contessa saved our weekend getaway!"

"Rooms are outdated....bathroom looked a bit dingy. Also, the ice machine was not working. Parking was in a very congested area. Too many fees .. Inconvenience of having to park somewhere else to avoid $55 hotel fee."

"The area right now in San Antonio is undergoing construction. Even with all the construction in the area, we still had a great time. City walk is a must see, a boat tour or a bus tour is a must do. And for anyone who’s into history, there’s plenty of it."

"Stayed in lofts. Have stayed there twice, first time little or no hot water. Second time jacuzzi tub jets were filthy. Room was nice, but disappointed with listed amenities. "

"The property was nice. The area was perfect for what we needed. The only thing that was not so great was the night lady that was at the front desk our first night was not so nice. We didn’t receive our “breakfast and coffee” for nights we stayed. However Anahy that worked in the mornings was super helpful and always had a smile on her face!
