"This property was amazing, and the communication with the host was the best I've ever had, hands down! She even offered early check-in and late check-out, which was much appreciated! It's cozy and quaint, with everything a couple and their furry companions could want. The drive in is a little rough, but totally worth it. The single room cabin is super cozy, and it isn't lacking for anything. The covered front porch was a favorite respite, particularly the swing bed with its own heater and lake view. The attached dog yard is big enough for the canine companions to play, and they can access the porch and the dog yard without having to worry about them getting out (although small dogs can pass through the large wire squares). The large covered outdoor kitchen/dining area was a welcome bonus, and we put it to use grilling meals after a day of gallivanting. The property was meticulously maintained, clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay here! I totally see us coming back to stay here again!"

"The house was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was very nice loved the rustic feel very clean and well stocked. We loved the screened porch and the outside patio area with the firepit. We definitely would rent it again. "

"Listing was as described with lots for the children to do while the adults relaxed. The living room/kitchen set up was open and the wood burning fire provided a fantastic vacation escape feel. The downstairs was a little chilly but had plenty of heaters and blankets to stay comfortable. "

"This was the perfect spot for our family. My husband got up and rode from our driveway to the trails that are literally right at the driveway edge and along the entry road (Gates Chapel Road). He rode for HOURS every day while we went into Ellijay and visited our favorite places. If you are wanting to be right near downtown Ellijay, this may be too far out for you but if you have a mountain bike lover, this is perfection. WE loved to slow down and see the two white guardian dogs greet us on Gates Chapel Rd, see the shaggy horses at the farm along the way, see the empty wasp nest hanging high in a tree along the road, wonder about the farm with the fake deer and what they do there hahaa, and the next door neighbors are setting up a farmstead and are DELIGHTFUL. We asked permission and they allowed us to greet and pet their two gorgeous dogs. We fished in the little pond on site (caught some little bitty fish but it was fun), sat in the swing by the pond, spent hours hitting balls on the on site tennis court, and relaxed in the jacuzzi which is VERY clean b/c the owner has it drained between EVERY renter (THANK YOU!). We love relaxing by a fireplace. The one here does it's job of warming the place up but it is in an awkward spot. I'd have loved to turn the furniture to face the fireplace b/c being from Florida, we don't get to experience fireside coziness very often. But, I understand the positioning of the furniture b/c the TV is on the opposite side of the room."

"Absolutely loved this property. The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The house was comfortable and homey and there was plenty to do with beautiful property. Definitely want to return in the summer as well!!! Grandkids loved the scavenger hunt! Absolutely recommend!!"
