I’ve fell in love with this place and I’m planning on returning later this year.
My dad joined me on this bucket list trip through the Appalachian mountains this summer, we’ve really enjoyed this place quietness and the beautiful nature.
The cabin is very neatly decorated and clean, providing more than expected ambiance.
The porch really tops everything. Having access to the camper is an awesome addition specially if you’re having a large party.
The host has communicated well with directions and instructions for check-in and out.
We now really miss being there and hopefully we’ll be back sooner than later.
We picked Ellijay for a 3 day weekend for a quick getaway and somewhere that my husband could mountain bike. This was a perfect spot for us. The property is very well kept. The cabin is well stocked, had everything we needed, as is the RV camper. There is a large fire pit with plenty of wood. The little stream and bridge are a cute addition and you can relax in hammocks or the swing next to the stream. There's an extra building which I don't know what it is but it reminded us of a little old town store. There is also uphill hiking on the other side of the bridge. We brought 2 of our dogs and they loved running around, staying right near us, and playing in the stream.
The MTB trails were only 6 minutes away which was very convenient. Downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge were very close by and we were able to enjoy both. We have stayed in the area many times and this is a place we would definitely consider staying in again.
Was perfect! The host absolutely thought of everything!! Even shampoo and body wash! Communication was beyond hoped for. Comfee bed, beautiful camper for guests, coffee, linens you name it!
Clean and recently remodelled cabin in the middle of a clearing, that the parents can use as a master suite while the kids sleep a bit further on the property inside a comfortable RV. The inside of the cabin is roomy enough for the group to organise its meals and indoor social activities without feeling on top of each other. Lots of space outside for the kids and the dogs to roam around too.
Powerful and steamy shower, nicely equipped kitchen, roomy covered porch, and water hose for cleaning up the bikes, it was the perfect resourcing shelter for our MTB adventure. Plus there is a final creek to cross and a 1000ft gravel road to climb once you are done biking the Pinhoti trails. Added bonus!
A very picturesque setting for the cabin in a well maintained grass field adjacent to a creek. The cabin was well appointed with plenty of items to enhance the stay. Can’t speak to the RV option, as we were only able to stay in the cabin. The creek crossing isn’t bad under normal conditions, but could be for a car under higher water/heavy rain. Also, the road leading to the cabin was a bit more undulating than expected, but most cars with decent tire tread and ground clearance should do fine and be able to get up the slight incline on the other side of the creek. A lovely place tucked away with great amenities and quiet. Will look forward to returning.
