"This apartment is in a really bad area of town. The apartment itself is okay, nothing special there is no air conditioning so you need to open all the windows. The 3 windows in the front of the apartment were broken with the screens cut out. Therefore in order to have the apartment not be grossly hot we would have to prop the windows open and have the bugs come in. The back windows do not have curtains so anyone could creep in at night. We were not happy with the broken windows and contacted the...

"My partner and I stayed here for five nights over the Christmas holiday. In addition to being clean, safe, and private, the staff were extremely hospitable and professional. While my husband was working, I enjoyed the on-site spa services and delicious dining menu at the Clau Clau bistro. "Directly on the water with access to a public beach next door and waterfront park, this vintage motel is fabulous. Its inviting from the outside and even better inside. The rooms are super clean and comfy, the owners are friendly and helpful. There's chairs outside, so you can watch the water and maybe chat with your neighbour. If you're looking for luxury, go elsewhere, but with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and breakfast, this is absolutely perfect for travelers looking to support the private owner while experiencing an economical option with a vintage vibe.
