"Fabulous from start to finish. We had a complimentary upgrade and room was fab. Huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits replenished daily. Breakfast fabulous selection of juices, fruits, cereals and yogurts and great choice of cooked breakfasts - all needs catered for vegetarian and gluten free too. Hosts so welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be returning next year"

"Chris, checked us in, and helped us up with my bag and got my daughter a duvet. That was great, as well as the fine full English breakfast. The bathroom fan was dirty and inefficient. There weren’t flannels or anything but 2 liquid soaps. Instructions for how to turn on the shower would have been useful, and no dead giant spider in the bathroom. Parking was not that easy to do, which led to me taking a chance the following morning and getting fined."

"Very nice to have the opportunity to stay on a farm, which is just a few minutes from a town. It was both quiet and with a nice view as well as convenient. Nice area to have your breakfast in as well!"

"The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction."

"Our stay was wonderful. Adrian and his wife really did think of everything. A very welcoming couple. They kindly let us check in early. Provided some lovely room refreshments such as cookies, biscuits and chocolates. It’s the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long while. The bed was soooo comfortable. Breakfast was 11/10! The quality and quantity was superb. The area is also really quaint. We took a stroll to The Crown for our evening meal, and again excellent service and food. We will be...

"Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."
