"Croft cottage was sympathetically renovated to a good standard. Some of the furniture was well used but in keeping. Amy put the heating on for us prior to arrival, and we used one of the log burners too, so it was much warmer than I anticipated from viewing the photos. The location was great too; it feels rural but is in walking distance (at least in one direction!) of Silsden, with all the usual amenities of a mid-size town. "We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

"A lovely cottage in a great location. The village has a great community run pub and shop and has real character. The villagers are friendly and helpful - even in the most trying times! We had a disaster on check out day when there was a huge snowstorm overnight and our car got stuck on the way out of the village. The owner welcomed us back to the cottage and made sure our family were safe and warm until the snow subsided and the roads were clear. An excellent host indeed! The village shop...

"Just what we needed to visit our daughter at Huddersfield Uni. We were looking for something on the lovely countryside around Holmfirth and this ticked all the boxes. Easy check in, plenty of options on just eat and a beautiful, characterful terrace with enclosed yard, perfect for our dog."
