"This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Clayton Plaza Hotel and it has been just right every time. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is an excellent bonus. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our room had a huge shower and a bathtub. "

"The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean, parking is easy but cost, the only issue I had was the AC in my room was not blowing good. The temp in the room stayed 76 degrees. I didn’t ask to be move because my room was near my family and there was no other rooms on that floor near them. I stayed in room 809. "

"Overall it was a great hotel. Only downside was the lack of staffing. I tried to call a few different times for pillows and sheets for the hide a bed with no answer each time. Granted it was a busy time when we went (spring break week). "

"Our family of five had a great long weekend in St. Louis with the hotel as a homebase. It is close to public transportation, easy to walk around Clayton, but parking is an extra charge per night if you bring your own car."

"I had a very pleasant stay at the Seven Gables Inn. The room was big (213) and clean. Huge marble bath and heated toilet. Some of the hotel needs a paint job or renovation but the room was great. People friendly and made an extra effort. My colleague stayed in a different room half the size and was not happy so now I understand the mixed reviews on the site. Ask for room 213 or equivalent. "
