"Comfortable bed, heating system that works well, friendly courteous staff with a special mention to Ruthie (sp?) who looked after breakfast with courtesy and friendly attention, better breakfast than I expected from a standard self serve buffet style, Only reason for good rather than excellent rating - walls are too thin. Could hear coughing and sneezing in next room and someone complained about our tv being too loud (we turned it down)."

"The manager and staff were frienfly and very attentive. Toilet wasnt flushing and maintenance fixed it quickly. Housekeeping made the bed the second day which you don't find often. Breakfast was not great. But coffee machine was great. I was pleased with the pricing for the stay. It's quite far far from Whitby."
