"It was OK, 15mins walk to old town had a gym and pool and sauna and steam which was broken half the time or were on maintenance. Overall it was OK, not great not bad, rooms sizes were large and it was walking distance to the main train station."

"Comfortable big bed and spacious room. Parking in adjacent garage needs to be reserved through the property beforehand at 20/night. Parked a small SUV. Tight but manageable. Area very central. Was not too loud at night despite windows facing the street. Wish there were paper towels or more towels in general provided. Kitchenette stocked with plates, cups, wine glasses, cutlery and wine opener. Microwave, fridge with small freezer. "

"The property is in an excellent location handy for everything the staff were very helpful and courteous. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the ground floor restaurant my wife ordered tacos which were excellent and I ordered a mini burger which came 10 minutes or so later and had obviously been left as is was cold so I sent it back and refused a replacement as my wife had finished eating. Celebrating 2025 New Year in Villa Camaleon!

"Had a fantastic family getaway in Villa Camaleon 27th Dec 2024-1st Jan 2025. The villa is up on a hill overlooking the coast, well situated with pretty Italian Cypress trees along the driveway. Completely private, feels remote but has a nice little neighbourhood on the hillside which feels safe. Pack a torch for evening walks. The road up is a single track with pull in areas, we enjoyed the track up and down for the views, if you're an experienced driver no issue, if less so, just take it steady. The villa is clean and tidy with eveything you will need for your stay, washing machine, kettle, hair dryer, plenty of towels, entertainment etc. The pool was great, with coloured lights. Pretty gardens. The best supermarket to stock up - El Ingenio, Velez-Malaga,there is a fuel station and mall type convenience. During our stay we visited Caminito del Rey & El Gaitanejo, the well photographed narrow gorge walkway, we had encounters with goats, found fossils and loved watching the train pass through the gorge, a marvel of engineering. We had a great day out at Cueva De Nerja which is a stunning cave with spectacular formations, there was also a VR experience which sent my brain into a tizzy about simulation theory and some really pleasant botanical gardens. We took quite a hike one day and visited Bajada al Canuelo a lesser trodden, clean, beautiful beach, steep way down from the car park through the woods & back up the road. Lots more to see and do! Large house, ideal private heated pool for family vacation

A fabulous holiday!

"We had a wonderful two weeks here in Vélez. The house was beautiful and the swimming pool was perfect! The kitchen was big enough for everyone and well stocked with all you needed. The air conditioners / fans worked well in the Spanish heat. Olivier & Juana were great hosts, very helpful with local knowledge and an occasional lift. They were also very discrete and one wouldn’t have known they lived in the top floor. They also fixed a small issue very quickly. All in all, a fabulous holiday - thanks"
