"Front desk lady (in her 50’s/60’s) VERY nice and helpful! Bed: too firm (and I like firm mattresses) and the mattress protective padding felt lumpy. Entire room: nice, felt a bit dated. Bathroom: ditto. Location: it’s right near the entrance of the park … super convenient to visit the Botanical Gardens or heading to the city on foot! Heads up: hotel is right next to a restaurant. This means you’re dealing with people taking trash out LATE and the trash truck comes 3x a week at ungawdly hours...
