"Lovely place to stay - very central to the city including New Regent St, Riverside Market and the Te Pae Convention Centre. Staff were lovely. OGB restaurant was very nice. Room was very nice, quite clean. Kitchen had everything I needed. I was to short to be able to close the blind in the kitchen area - a little hook to catch the cord on would help this! My room was on the road - got a little noisy at times, but nothing over the top. I just used ear plugs."

"The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."
