"I was in Florida visiting friends locally and this was the perfect location - not far from them in Everglades City or from Naples! The bed was very comfortable and everything I needed was in the unit.The only downside of my trip was on the last day - the checkout time was apparently wrong on the listing (it said 11am but should have been 10am) so when I went outside, the door locked behind me and thank goodness I had brought my phone so I was able to call and the door was able to be remotely unlocked. I was told this issue with the listing would be corrected!My only other comment is it would have been nice in the listing to have directions to how to get to the unit on the property. It’s not a huge property But I imagine it being a little confusing or difficult at night.Overall, the stay was great and I would definitely stay here again!"

"What a hidden lil paradise!! Great value, friendly chill staff (Jamie), sweet lil breakfast in the outdoor tiki, the restaurant was delicious! My only problem was with Expedia.. taking the payment on my card..when i was to pay at property. Highly recommend Port of the Islands Resort!!"

"Great if you have a boat and like to fish. Nights are quiet. My wife and I had a great time exploring 10000 islands. Caught a ton of fish and weather was perfect. "

"For the last twelve years we have spent January and February in the Everglades area because we love to kayak. This property exceeds all of the others in which we've stayed - roomy, good beds, attractive design, comfortable furniture, room for a trailer and car, and lovely screened lanai with a great view of the bay and pool. The owners quickly respond to questions and keep visitors informed of activities around the condo complex. We love staying here."

"All lights in room were overly bright and glaring, esp beside lamp. Outside light which could not be turned off or blocked shown direct on bed making sleep "
