"I had a wonderful stay here, 4 nights in the summer was beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful, great location, stunning scenery, perfect weather definitely book here. Great restaurants close by, I would recommend a hire car for a day or two as there is so much to explore. Will definitely stay here again if I find myself back here. Would definitybe a lot of fun here through the winter too."

"Excellent place to stay. The gentleman at the hostel offers pick up and drop services from Yudanaka station, Snow monkey park and some onsens in Yamanouchi. Although he speaks only Japanese, he uses a translator and tries his best to communicate with you. We will be staying here again when we come back."

"I stayed here for three weeks and really enjoyed it! Close to the Cortina and Norikura slopes and if you wanna go into town or the other ski areas, the bus stop is literally just outside the door. Nice owner, free use of the kitchen to make my own food, good wi-fi connection and great help with my ski equipment that I rented there. Totally recommend this place!"

"This place has great space! Unfortunately, it was not as clean as it should have been. There were lots of dust motes hanging in multiple window frames, ceiling fan covered with clumped on dust, under bed had trash and lots of dust, etc. The cabin, while functionable and a well appointed kitchen, is also dated and in need of some repairs (hole in bathroom door, hole in entry hall, slight curling of linoleum bathroom floor, no rotating dish in microwave, no window coverings in bunks or entry...
