"I booked late and last minute through an app, but it was no problem. After over 5 hours of driving I was ready to relax and sleep and Bay Tree was perfect for this. I booked the single room with ensuite so had to climb to the top floor but did this with ease, even with three bags. The room was clean and wonderfully comfortable. "Nice room, bathroom had both shower and bath but when we went to use bath there was no plug so could not use which was disappointing. Shower was not very powerful at all. Plenty of tea /coffee provided and bottles of water provided. Beds comfy, enjoyed good sleep. They don’t do food anymore, so have to go else where for dinner & breakfast. "

"Cosy and comfortable. Decent bedding and excellent duvet. Really nice breakast. The bathroom safety rails should be replaced as very rusty but plenty of hot water. Overall very clean, only let down by the rusty rails in the bathroom. Wouldnt put me off staying again, it was so peaceful and comfortable."

"We stayed for one night en route to a week’s holiday in Cornwall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was a good one. We had reserved a table for our evening meal (along with our dog) and thoroughly enjoyed the food."

"Nikki & Eddie were the perfect hosts, taking obvious pride in keeping their B&B looking its best. There was even a complimentary upgrade of room when they heard it was the birthday celebration of one of us. Location superb. Off the bustling road but right on the beach. "Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and well maintained period property with an interesting history! Our room was also very clean, with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. "We had a very pleasant three night stay at the Bull, the rooms are all different and decorated in various styles. The courtyard is potentially a very attractive space to sit, drink, eat and socialise, however it was a tad chilly during our stay and it needed a thorough tidy up to realise its full potential. The staff were great, helpful, polite, attentive but not intrusive. The food was of a good standard and breakfast was superb. There are plenty of local attractions and interesting places to visit providing you have your own transport, however being located in Bridport itself everywhere in the town is within walking distance. One word of caution when booking establish where your room is located, - I didn’t and found myself at the most distant room, which would not be a problem if you don’t have health issues as there is no lift and lots of stairs! Thoroughly recommend a stay here."
