"The Sala was a great place to stay. Short walk to the beach, great street with many spas (recommend Heart Spa down the end of street 30m) and restaurants and next door to a laundry. The staff were excellent and breakfast had a large range of excellent food. Close walk to town and all the excitement. Room facilities were excellent and bed hard and very comfortable. "

"This is a very old school resort with basic amenities for the price you pay. The bathroom had stains and the corridor was damp. Wallpapers were coming off in some places. Located on the ocean, it’s great if you want a private beach to swim, but you are cut off from the city. Rooms are good sized and staff are generally good. The infinity pool is grand and they also provide kayaks."

Excellent hotel with the best staff

"This was one of our favourite hotels that we stayed at in Vietnam, the room was so big, comfortable and very clean. It was a nice quiet hotel, close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. The dragon bridge is in walking distance too. Breakfast was really good with a huge variety of food and something different every morning. The staff were so friendly and this is what we loved most about the hotel. Julia, Cindy and Clara were so chatty and helpful. They made breakfast every morning really enjoyable. Ivy was really helpful and friendly on reception and booked us our driver to Hoi An. We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again!"

Amazing place to stay

"Our room was amazing! It was really large, nicely appointed with comfortable furniture in addition to the plush king-sized bed. The large bathroom was lined with marble and had a large deep soaking tub. The hotel offered us complimentary massages for each day of our stay. We paid for more since they were so good. The lobby is beautiful. Every member of the staff was extremely polite and efficient. Definitely recommend!"

"Excellent location, very clean, and very capable staff. If you stay for any more than four days choose an apartment, where the 2BR apartments come with a cooktop, washing machine/dryer, and a full-size fridge & freezer - as well as all the amenities of the actual hotel. Speaking of which, the breakfast buffet and gym were excellent. Special mention must go to Nam, one of the hotel's concierges, who went out of his way to organise a number of our side trips for us and help navigate our way around Da Nang. Perhaps the only small minus was the flotilla of motorbikes zooming down the main street almost every night - but I guess that's the price one pays for having a room overlooking the Han River. If you close the sliding doors the noise reduces considerably but we liked the fresh air rather than using the air-conditioning. Our two-bedroom apartment also had a very large balcony, which was fantastic to sit out on and watch the world go by on the river. The hotel was also directly opposite the boarding location for the night river cruises."
