"Too basic for our liking. It was a nice, roomy accessible room but had limited amenities. There were 2 bath towels but no hand towel. No kleenex. No hairdryer. Few dining options. The Asian buffet that was recommended was very expensive. We did not require an all-you-can-eat buffet."

"Hotel Ibis is convenient for those travelling to Saumur by train-- property is literally right across street from station. Friendly service ( I can speak a bit of French; they could speak some English so all good for check-in, etc! Also.one staffer who was fully bilingual.). Good breakfast in pleasant dining area. "We stopped for one night on our way back to the UK. Langeais is a very pretty small town on the Loire with a beautiful Chateau in the centre. La Fleur de Lys is a small hotel right in the centre. Our room was good sized, well equipped and very clean. It also had the facility to make hot drinks in the room - which is not always the case in France.
