"This is a brilliant property. It’s an old vineyard house, stylishly converted and very well equipped. The description and photos are accurate. There is a lovely garden in front with chairs and loungers, which sadly we were unable to use because of the persistent rain. Claude and Francine are the best of hosts, welcoming, friendly but discreet. All in all, a great choice for a week in the Loire Valley"

"What a great holiday we had at this lovely gîte. It is spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and has a plenty to keep everyone of all ages occupied, including table tennis, zip line, boules and the pool. A big attraction are the animals which you can help look after, a pony, goats and some chickens. A great find and we hope we can stay there again!"

"Despite some unseasonal cold and wet weather and suffering from colds caught on the ferry from GB we really enjoyed our 2 weeks at L’Abeille Bleue. What made it so great was the warmth of our hosts Didier and Patricia, a most welcoming and generous couple. Didier was so concerned that we understood how the heating system worked (we really needed it!) that he came in twice to check that we understood it. And we also benefitted greatly from gifts of fruit (peaches, apples, figs) and vegetables...

"La Temperatura era clemente quindi siamo stati benissimo da quel punto di vista. A soli 10 minuti dal supernercato e una ventina di minuti dal castello della Loira più vicino. Ci sono tavoli all'aperto. Peccato solamente che la lavatrice era rotta."
