"We enjoyed a clean, quiet, comfortable, and modern cabin in a pretty hillside garden setting. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and the restaurant was terrific (best "concha" baked sweet bread I have had anywhere). There are other excellent restaurants and great wineries in the area. The resort is in an area off the main highway that is accessed by dirt roads. We had no problem getting there in a Toyota Camry, but if you have something more rugged--even a minivan--that is better, of course. But this advice even applies to paved roads in Mexico, with their many potholes and speed bumps. We highly recommend Contemplacion Resort & Spa."
