"We really like this hotel. My relatives who live in the city live nearby and the staff is very friendly. Nicole who works in the Rooftop bar is fantastic - friendly, thoughtful and very customer service oriented. She found a beautiful table for my party and we had a great time. I'd also like to recognize the staff in Dreams for their hospitality. Our room had a great view and was very spacious. We did have two issues, however: The shower in the master was very difficult to regulate water...

"James is a great host, and his big house with many interesting and private rooms, many with their own washrioms, were super comfortable. Located in the very chic and safe Chapalita area with plenty of dining options, and an easy 15 minute walk to Expo Guadalajara. Will definitely be back. Thanks for your hispitality James!"

"i cannot check in because the hotel was closed due to the maintenance. so i have to find another hotel to stay, and need to spend additional money, time, and labor. next day morning, i visited the hotel again, but there was still under construction. very disappointed at the hotels.com reservation. "5 minute walk to Walmart and Santa Maria Hospital. Let us leave the car extra time so we didn’t have to park at hospital. Restaurants good within 4 blocks. Decorating in room older but bathroom recently upgraded. Bed was comfortable. Room had small kitchen with fridge, 4 burner, micro wave and sink. TV small and only one English channel. Missed watching olympics."
