"A pleasant experience all in all. I just felt a slight smell of damp in my room and carpet was old. Also drain in bath could have done with a scrub. The room was quite small as I didn’t have enough room to open my suitcase without tripping over it. Otherwise, had a comfy bed. Clean toilet. Clean towels and accessories. Nice choice of food at breakfast and also ala cart during the day. "

"Front desk was a little slow. They said they would inform me when the room was ready and I told them I would be at the coffee shop. They never let us know after an hour so I had to go back to front desk to enquire. Room was ready but they said the couldn't find me. Turns out they never looked into the coffee shop!"

"The DoubleTree Hilton in Ahmedabad might be compact, but it certainly makes a good impression. The room was cozy and offered a comfortable stay, though the breakfast buffet fell short of expectations compared to typical Indian hotel standards—the chai lacked flavor, and local specialties like fafda didn’t quite capture their authentic taste. On the bright side, the coffee shop behind the lobby stands out as a highlight, with courteous and attentive staff making the experience even better. The outdoor seating area is another gem, especially at night, staying open until 2 AM and offering a lovely ambiance. Despite its shortcomings, I would gladly choose to stay at this property again during future visits to Ahmedabad. Special mention to staff from coffee shop ‘Shobhit’ he is a great! "
