"A beautiful complex, in a truly stunning area of the Basque Country. The staff are great. Maria Vitorica spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Grounds are pristine - wonderful views of the ocean and hills; beautiful gardens; great exercise/obstacle course; tennis court and the pool is even better than the photos! "This hotel has perfected the art of service. From the moment we stepped out of our car until three days later when we left, every single interaction with staff was impeccable. I was more often than not addressed by my name (how do they keep track?!), and the balance they have struck between formal and welcoming is truly amazing. Easily the finest hotel experience I’ve ever had. "

"We only stayed one night enroute home to the UK from The Algarve but we loved this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful and well located for the beach and a short walk to the busy shopping area. We pre booked to park and were able to charge our car which was much appreciated. We ate in the Hôtel restaurant and the food and service were outstanding. We are already planning to return. "
