Houseboats in France

"We traveled to Paris with a group of 6, including 2 kids, which made finding a place to stay difficult. The houseboat on the Seine fit all of us perfectly, and with more amenities than we would have found in a hotel. We loved being close to the Louvre, Champs Élysées, Place Vendôme shopping, and easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Staying in the houseboat was such a unique experience for our family trip and we would absolutely stay again!"

"We loved staying on the big orange barge! It was cute and fun and peaceful. Very small, but well furnished. We even managed to cook dinner for 4 in the tiny kitchen, and we crowded into the wheelhouse to eat. We did not invite the guests to stay overnight though, that would have been too much! Gilles was very nice, communicative, flexible and responsive. I highly recommend staying here (if you're no taller than 5'10"!) for a unique stay near the center of Metz. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - views are stunning and we found it a very relaxing holiday. The bed in the loft was extremely comfortable after working out how to get in it…. Local beaches are a stone’s throw away as are local shops and a fabulous patisserie/boulangerie I am sure we will be back "

"Avec mon compagnon nous avons réservé une nuit sur la péniche Marie-Lou au mois de novembre pour découvrir la ville de Compiègne. C'était un super moment, la péniche est bien aménagée et confortable. Elle n'est pas très loin du centre-ville de Compiègne et est facile d'accès, tout en restant dans un coin tranquille et préservé.
