The ac unit went out for one day and one staff member was sent that evening to check it, but it was not fixed until the next day by getting a new unit. That same evening we didn't have hot water. "First off, the location of this resort is probably the best on the island other than proximity to snorkeling, that is a few miles away. It is incredibly quiet at night around the resort. We returned to this resort as it is great for kids with close proximity between pool, rooms and fabulous beach. The staff is generally friendly especially the security and pool staff, though felt the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming and helpful. "Lugar extremamente novo. Inaugurado há apenas 2 meses. Tudo com muito bom gosto e pessoas sempre prontas a ajudar e servir. O lugar é extraordinário mas fica longe de tudo e os táxis são muito caros e cobram por pessoa e não por distância. Optamos por alugar um barco, fazer uma boa compra de supermercado, cozinhar em 2 noites e nas outras, comer no hotel. Local ideal para descansar. Praia maravilhosa. "

"This condo was such a gem of a place and had everything we were looking for in a vacation rental!The "resort" was away from the congested part of the island and right on the beach. It's peaceful and quiet.There is a pool, hot tub and little restaurant right on locaton (not open on Mondays), which allowed us to stay put there most of the time.The condo is cozy & has a covered patio to sit and enjoy the scenery with your coffee in the morning.We enjoyed this location so much & hope to return :)"

YouWIL need a car to access main town in the iskand and further beaches and restaurants, though there are several nice restaurants and bars in walking distance of the place. Would gladly return. Be warned, though; island prices astronomical, especially for food."

"New staff from last year. We recognized only two - front desk and massuse (sp?). Food was excellent, but very slow. 90 minute wait for lunch special. Two hours at one dinner and still waiting for main course. Sailboat broken and paddle boards broken by bartenders who should not have been using. Our room had a broken door. We pointed it out and housekeeper said it had been on maintenance’s radar for a while. However. Maintenance came in two days and repaired it completely. These are...
