"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a short walk to the beach and close enough to walk to town. It was lovely being close but away from town, very quiet. The breakfast was included and was delicious, many options and freshly prepared. The hotel provided an umbrella, beach blanket and cooler for the beach. Yoga on the rooftop was amazing. I highly recommended this hotel. "

"Very nice relaxing hotel. No boom box blaring, no late night pool parties, mostly older clientele so that suited us fine. I give the front desk and cleaning staff a 11 out of 10, they went above and beyond with any request or need we had. We will probably book there again for years to come!"

"We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at this hotel. Very clean. Comfortable. Secure. Quite quiet with interior courtyard with lots of fresh air and good sunshine. Better patio chairs that are not wobbly and facecloths in the rooms are our minor quibbles. Central location is excellent with east access to beach, good restaurants, super minis and Guaybitos. We loved the nearby local foods available. Would definitely book again!"

"Everything about this property was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend visiting ! The staff were incredible, the communication was top tier. Transportation throughout the whole property was easy and certainly convenient. They also provided me a pregnancy pillow which made sleeping and lounging around in the bed and day bed so comfortable for me. I thought that gesture was very helpful. The importance to catering to our needs was the top of their list! We will certainly be coming back! "

"The hotel is located atop a small mountain. The road to get there is very rocky and rustic and easily missed from the main road. But the view from the small balcony is well worth the bumpy trip. You see the ocean and the entire town of Rincon de Guayabitos. Hot water was great. Bed was very comfortable too. Room was small but you don't mind it. Alot of cool birds on the grounds."

"My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay in Chacala. We loved the casita and our private rooftop terrace. We were spoiled as we had beautiful views of the ocean and breathtaking sunsets every day! The beachfront property is in excellent condition with private beach access for guests, with palapas for shade. We were in close proximity to all restaurants with a few small markets nearby. We had everything we needed within walking distance. The dipping pool was fantastic! Most importantly the owners of the compound were available for any questions or requests throughout the day and could be easily reached on WhatsApp. Communication is key in our opinion and we found this very comforting. The family owned casa/casita put their heart and soul into their property and it shows. Just beautiful and very comfortable! We will definitely return, as this town and our accommodations were the highlight of our vacation. "

"We spent an amazing week celebrating my mom’s 85th birthday. 17 people in our group from age 1 to age 85. This is a beautiful, private location in a gated community. The ocean access allows for exploring tide pools, boogie boards, stand up boards, swimming and kayaking. The pool and hot tub were great, too. Staff was very attentive, friendly and made delicious meals. Our group had a wide variety of food requests and they worked with us through all the allergies and preferences. The house was clean and provided us everything we needed. We would love to come back in the years to come. "
