"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment, the perfect size for 2-4 people. Beach was a few steps away and lots of restaurants and small supermarket were within easy walking distance. We had a car to visit nearby towns, but free parking was readily available in the middle of Salema. My only recommendation would be for a table fan in the bedroom to keep the room cooler at night. "

"This is a large, well equipped house in a small resort development. The house is lovely with everything you need and more than big enough for our 5 adult family. The village is quieter and less touristy than some in the Algarve but with that came more of a Portuguese feel. The nearby villages of Salema and Burgau were well worth a visit. Whilst I understand costs need to be controlled, having fresh bedding/towels during a 2 week stay would be nice. Also, although we don’t want to watch tv all...

"I left right away, stayed in hotel. House was misrepresented. Not large house, but apt, no ocean view, no TV, no 2nd bathroom, not beach front... 20 min away. Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. Door to apt was covered in turf, did not lock properly, did not open all the way, he told me don't worry, it's safe here. There's a 2nd apt. in this...

"We had a lovely two weeks in this property. The view was spectacular, the outside areas and pool were great with the balcony comfortable and shady. Inside the house felt spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Lots to do within an easy drive. We found Portugal good value for money with great food and friendly people, we will return."

"Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. Would recommend...

"Sehr schöne Gegend dort, alles sauber und al-les vorhanden. Liegen auf dem Dach müssten mal gesäubert werden. ABER: Achtung Amei-sen in der Wohnung - kein Brot offen liegen lassen. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin schlecht."

"We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Very quiet. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated and the kitchen has the tools you need for cooking. We called the decor "grandma's" house. It worked well just a little worn and outdated."

"We couldn’t have had a better holiday. Fifth time in Lagos and the best accommodation so far. So convenient it’s unreal. Absolutely spotlessly clean when we arrived and just a pleasure to sit at the veranda and watch the street life, and listen to the chat from the excellent Ala do Castelo restaurant next door, who were wonderfully welcoming. Nothing but praise for the accommodation. A fantastic base to explore the amazing city of Lagos. We’ll be back."

"The parking and unloading of suitcases was an issue. We had to park in town and walk everything in. We knew parking would be hard but did not expect it to be so challenging to unload suitcases."

"This was our 5th visit to Parc de Floresta and we love it here. It is tranquil and beautiful. Our accommodation was very good in terms of space and location and we would definitely book this villa again. I’m already thinking about next year."

"The house was well appointed and exactly as listed. The property manager met us on site and was delightful. She had left a few necessities for us (coffee, cream, wine!) our daughter loved the pool, the games, and the bean bag chair. A perfect place to relax. Thank you!"

"Located right in the center of Alvor, very close to restaurants and shops. The downside is that there is a huge construction site neighbouring the house. Lots of noise. Instructions to get into the house was unclear, the key was missing from the key chain. We waited more than 30 min to get in. There were 4 doors and none of the keys worked. We had the main floor. The upstairs is rented as well. The doors knobs need replacing, they barely work and one came off in our hand. Cleaniless...

"We, two couples in our 70’s, spent three nights at the House By The Sea. Overall, the experience was positive. The house is showing some signs of aging, but was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was adequate and well supplied. The walk to the beach isn’t far, and we enjoyed exploring the small beach town. We visited in October and experienced a stormy, rainy time, so the downstairs bedroom area was quite dark and a bit damp. I imagine that in bright, hot periods this would provide...

"About 1 week before we arrived, the hosts informed me that the unit next door had started off-season renovations, and we could cancel if we wanted. We decided to try it anyway. Unfortunately, the noise was too much, and we were forced to alter our plans. The hosts quickly arranged a refund of the unused nights. We appreciated the honest and professional way they handled this situation."

"My mother and i wanted a beautiful countryside place to stay for two weeks, we wanted a quiet and peaceful space and this place offered exactly that the layout is unique, wonderfully decorated, incredible views, two terraces, with butterflies and birds singing. the place was well equipped and the host was super helpful. The only small consideration we had was the wi-fi was a little slow and the kitchen was a little dark. but all minor things considering how beautiful and cosy the space is....

"Wir hatten hier eine sehr gute Zeit, im Haus war alles, was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Im Haus herrscht immer gutes Klima, wir brauchten nicht mal die Klimaanlage. Die zwei umzäunten und verschlossenen Pools haben eine angenehme Wassertemperatur. Im Ort gibt es einen guten, großen Supermarkt und zwei sehr gute Restaurants. Die Strände sind gut erreichbar und einfach herrlich. Es lohnt sich auch die Fahrt an die Westküste, vorallem wenn man Surfen möchte. Absolut zu empfehlen. "

"Immediately felt at home in this property! All the rooms were well appointed, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. This home is very spacious and heaters and fireplace made it cozy on cool March evenings. The area is beautiful and quiet in spite of the construction nearby. We enjoyed exploring numerous beaches and sights in the Algarve, never more than an hour drive. Aljezur has a sweet old town with historic and cool vibe and lovely beaches within walking distance. "We very much enjoyed our stay at Nau beach village. The accommodations were spotless, tons of space with wonderful balconies for enjoying the view. Near the beach We’d return in a heart beat! "
