"Our family stayed for the week of Christmas. We wanted a get away with room to spread out & be able to just stay in; thats exactly what we got! It was very clean, comfortable and inviting. We appreciated the good quality of bedding (so comfy) & the abundance of nice towels provided. Pet friendly, but no sign or smell of animals! We very much enjoyed the hot tub & game room. "We really enjoyed the quiet peninsula with fabulous views of Lake Barkley. The accommodation fulfilled all of our needs — and even some that we didn’t know we needed; I.e., relaxation and “water therapy”. My husband and daughter took advantage of the hiking and history provided nearby in the Homeplace 1850’s Working Farm at the Recreation area. We had loads of space! "Newly remodeled house that mostly fit our needs. Start with the “needs to improve” and finish strong. Exterior of the property stills needs work - front yard needs mowing, weeding, walkway improvement and gravel driveway graded. The driveway into the garage and inside the garage needed cleaning. Still had construction trash not completely cleaned up. I found a broom and swept plus picked up nails. I wanted to park one vehicle in the garage as we had 3 vehicles and parking is tight.
