"My friends and I stayed here to celebrate a belated Christmas. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us to have our own beds. The view was amazing when it snowed on one of our days. We will definitely consider visiting again! "

"Nice central place for our family to meet together. The weather turned cold and a little windy the week we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the screened in porches much. But we had a great time. We enjoyed watching the barges. We may think about going back when the weather is warmer. Great location! The driveway has a sharpish turn to the right just before the house. In the fall, it was a little hard to see the drive with all the leaves on it. It might be a good idea to put some reflectors...

"We enjoyed being so close to the lake. Enjoyed fishing, the overly friendly raccoon, and the huge groundhog that ran around. I don’t think those beds are queen size though. Probably more like fulls.. as I think stayed. "

"Our family stayed for the week of Christmas. We wanted a get away with room to spread out & be able to just stay in; thats exactly what we got! It was very clean, comfortable and inviting. We appreciated the good quality of bedding (so comfy) & the abundance of nice towels provided. Pet friendly, but no sign or smell of animals! We very much enjoyed the hot tub & game room. There was firewood for the pit, a new gas grill, nice outdoor furnture, and adaquate nessecities for cooking!Not a con for...

"We really enjoyed the quiet peninsula with fabulous views of Lake Barkley. The accommodation fulfilled all of our needs — and even some that we didn’t know we needed; I.e., relaxation and “water therapy”. My husband and daughter took advantage of the hiking and history provided nearby in the Homeplace 1850’s Working Farm at the Recreation area. We had loads of space! Thank you, Lucas and staff for sharing this lovely “get away”."

"The vacuum doesn’t work there was pet hair on the floors from previous occupants and the kitchen was limited on useful items to cook with. There was also visible damage around the house and not many toys to play with. However, the stay was nice, a great neighborhood and location. I enjoyed the stay and had a great time. The issues did not hinder my stay as I would stay again. "
