"This wasn’t far the cutest vacation rental that I have ever stayed at! I was so surprised when I walked through the door. The outside of the farmhouse is nice and as pictured but when you walk into the house it’s incredibly large. I was surprised at how expansive the rooms were and how high the ceilings were. I felt like I was on a very posh movie set. I highly recommend this home and we hope to be back next year."

"Great place to stay to unwind! Spacious, clean, and well equipped. Nice beds, amazing views, quiet location. We used the grill and fire pit regularly (wood provided) and never had issues with mosquitoes. Our teenagers played on/in the water with the provided equipment. We explored a state park nearby (about 30 minutes) one day. The neighbor's dog was hanging out with us often which we did not mind. However, if you do not like or are afraid of dogs this is not the place for you."

The shower curtain in the first floor main bathroom (not the master) should be replaced 2. Trash can on the main floor is broken. The foot petal is missing. It works overall but may need replaced due to the foot petal Overall, our stay was amazing and we loved the amenities. Thank you!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much it was very quiet & comfortable . We enjoyed sitting out on the swing watching the sun go down… Eating breakfast and a few suppers in the kitchen. Loved & touched by reading the book there “Restored”. Only thing not real clean was windowsills on back porch.. but other than that I really nice place to stay hope to come back again sometime in the area. Very easy to speak with owner Holly. very well in a comfortable bed."

"We booked this home for a wedding weekend in Lewisville. The host was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. The home is decorated so cute and there wasn't a single thing that we needed that they didn't have available for us. They left us a cute little basket of farm fresh eggs and snacks. "The Hargrove House was a great place to rest each night after spending 3 days exploring the region! The back house (with loft twins) is probably more suited as bunk space for kids/teens. It’s much smaller (queen bed) and lacks needed luggage/hanging space for adult couples traveling together. Unfortunately, the back patio string lights never worked for us either - but overall we enjoyed our stay! "

"My wife and I have stayed at this location several times over the last couple of years. It is always very clean, well-stocked and Diane is readily available if needed. There was an outdoor Halloween Costume party at the cabin across the street with close to 100 people. My wife and I couldn't believe how well behaved and polite everyone was. They wrapped up at a decent hour no fighting or yelling. It is much different in our neighborhood in Florida. We look forward to our next stay."

"Our stay was great! The house was easy to access with checkin, everything was clean and ready to go. The fire pit was just what we needed to relax for a few days and unplug. We saw about 20 turkeys roaming in the yard one morning and then took a little walk down to the creek at the back of the property. Jaimie was wonderful with communication and was very helpful. "
