It had comfortable beds and couches, a private outdoor terrace in the courtyard, and was stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies and extra bedding and linens.The wifi, heating, and water systems all worked well. The apartment is on a quiet street very close to the town center and a city gate. We highly recommend this apartment!"

Massimo was a perfect host - he met us on arrival, check in was simple, everything was clean. It is a short walk of around 20 minutes to the very centre of town/Duomo. "lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need for a stay in Lucca. Easy walking distance from the railway station. The communication between the host & I to access the property was the only downside .Never assume that the renter has a smart phone or access to the internet. All I needed was the gate code, not to download a video showing the code. "

"This is a beautiful property out of the busyness of Florence. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the valley where you are perched on the side of a hill. Although it was too cold to use the pool it would be a great addition to any stay during the warmer months. There is a bit of a drive but we’ll worth it. "Nice well equipped apartment. I walked with my backpack from and to the train station. There's restaurants nearby and a grocery store in walking distance. Appreciated having the clothes washer with drying rack and fan to speed up drying. Was comfy for one and would be great for two."
