"The cabin was cozy, quiet, and we felt right at home! It had a cute rustic vibe and was very peaceful, despite being in a neighborhood. Easy access to Main Street Middletown with some great restaurants and sights. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen supplies, extra blankets, and brochures of local activities. We would stay again!"

"The cabin was perfect for a few days of writing and reflecting! Everything was very clean and it was easy communicating with the owner. The house is not "secluded" as there are neighboring houses on two sides and if I hadn't brought an ax/saw to cut my own dry wood enjoying a fire wouldn't have been possible. But overall a lovely stay and I look forward to going again!"

"Enjoyed this beautiful property. Spectacular view of Antietam Battlefield. Great spot for Civil War enthusiasts who will enjoy this high lookout for the Union perspective. Was great for our small family reunion. Nice gathering spaces and several away spots for individual privacy. "

"Our overall experience was nice and relaxing place to be. However, during the cold months. The second floor was warm enough to sleep, but the first floor was very cold, especially when it gets down to 19 at night when there’s no heat because all the heat travels to the second floor/loft. There was a space heater, but didn’t realize it until after we left. The host was easy to get a hold of through messages. The only recommendation I would say is maybe put a firebox insert in the fireplace to...

"This place was perfect for us. Secluded and quiet area, great history, and great amenities. It’s definitely a historic cabin and may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who are taller than around 5’9”, or those with physical handicaps. For us it was perfect. The managers were great and communicated with us any time we asked questions. Highly recommend. "

"This beautiful home was built by the owners and is tastefully decorated as well as nicely maintained. The location makes it extremely convenient for day trips to surrounding towns such as Frederick, Harper's Ferry and Gettysburg. The home is comfortable and can easily accommodate a large group. The hosts are very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would rebook if we were to return to the area."

"Direct and to the point. My wife and I travel quite a bit and generally stay in VRBO‘s this place is the nicest that we have ever stayed in. It’s very modern and the attention to detail amazes me. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and I’m taking pictures and notes as it’s going to help me build the cottage we want to build for ourselves. Highly recommend this location. "This was an experience! From check in (champagne served) to check out it was a memorable stay! I love the old and new concept decor, antiques placed thoughtfully throughout the property added an endearing feel. Restaurant located inside (Wye Oak Tavern 5pm to 11pm ) food was amazing (my husband says it's the best burger in town. I had the crab cake and it was all lump meat. Yummy (you need reservations so book ahead you don't have to be a guest staying at the hotel). The bar inside use to be a sanctuary (stunning views). The bartenders are skilled, attentive, professional, friendly and they make superb drinks( you can order food here after 5pm no rsvp needed). They did not disappoint one bit! Rooms are cozy and well decorated. Bedding was soft, crispy clean and relaxing. We appreciated the short history welcome letter. Art work was displayed throughout the hotel, this added a luxurious feel walking through. This place is simply put charming!
