I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. "House is clean, pleasant with comfortable beds, a serviceable kitchen and nice common space. My husband and 2 adult children were visiting family who live in sharpsburg and their house was pretty full with other visitors. This was a perfect place for us. Highly recommend. "

House was as advertised and had everything we needed - and nice little touches. 15 minute drive from Liberty Ski Resort. "Our stay was pleasant. The place was roomy and all amenities needed. The views were wonderful. Our only gripe is that the owners live downstairs and you can hear talking, movies/music etc so wouldnt recommend if you are seeking complete privacy. A lady that was looking for a women called Jane actually walked right in to our rented home. We thought that was a bit forward and shocked that she thought it was okay to just walk in without even a knock. But thats not the owners fault, just poor...

"The "train depot" is very comfortable, clean, and well designed. It is spacious, allowing us to celebrate our son's birthday with immediate family. The owner has done a great job managing the property and communicates well. We hope to stay there again on our next visit to Frederick."

It was also freezing cold so we ended up taking a car most places but it appeared walking to many downtown places would have been nice if weather had permitted. The beds and linens were very nice. "We stayed for two nights while introducing our kids to skiing at nearby Liberty resort. We were fortunate to get 6inches of beautiful snow while we were there, and enjoyed tremendously watching it blanket the trees around us Eileen was very helpful and ensured we had snow shovels and salt! "I’ve been a frequent traveler for over 50yrs(25 of which was spent in the military). This weekend I brought my wife, four (of seven) kids and two (of five) grand kids skiing and snow tubing. "Everything was perfect, and comfortable. Owners really care about their visitors. Home was walk in perfect for a family long weekend. Happened to be Thurmont's annual colorfest festival, and home pefectly located, nestled away yet close enough for easy walking. Highly recommend. "

"We will likely stay here again as it was a great deal for the space and location. It’s nice that they provide everything needed for a short term stay, you can tell there’s a lot of thought put into this place. Beds were pretty comfortable. Not really a complaint but just fyi that you can hear every step of whoever is staying upstairs. Our baby was able to sleep through it with his sound machine. "
