"Beautiful quiet property with lovely, friendly staff. The evening meal and breakfast were superb. The room was large, very comfortable and had a lovely patio overlooking the river. The hotel grounds were immaculate and had beautiful views of the hills. It was an easy walk into the town and there were lots of great walks from the door. "

"Impressive architectural features. Stained glass windows and marble walls and floors in the public areas. The guest rooms need some refurbishment and the bathrooms need modernising, but the hotel ambience and excellent service provided by the staff made our stay very enjoyable."

"Let me start by saying thank you to the whole team for making our recent stay so incredible. We were with you last week Wednesday - Friday. We were put in one of the upper level rooms with a partial view of the lake and it was a fantastic room. From our very first interaction with security at the gate, to checking in with David who was excellent, and all of our interactions whilst we were with you, we had a lovely time. We also booked Thermal journey and a treatment each which we had on the Thursday, the spa was equally as impressive. We also had the pleasure of meeting Puppy Holly (and Tim) which was one of my fiancés highlights. Special mention to Mel in the Winander bar who was lovely and we had several conversations with."
