"Absolutely great place, working locally, everything 5stars, only downside was a fire alarm at 4am, faulty sensors apparently, and my amazing nights sleep was cut short. Would return for everything else though, food, room, and staff all great."

"A wonderful find right in the centre of the town. Clean, comfortable and very clean. We were met on arrival and the room was already ready at 1130am. Perfect t for our needs. We didn’t eat in but should we have there was great menus and a cosy bar/lounge area with a fire roaring"

"Friendly staff. Rooms are older, but the Inn was built in the 1500's, so what do you expect? Rooms were a great size and the water pressure was outstanding. Breakfast was great and included with our stay. Good restaurant too for dinner."

"This was our 9th time here, as a group of fellow motorcyclists, this place is a Central meeting place for all of us. The Dog house could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean. Good selection of drinks, decent meals and a good breakfast. "

"This is a very special place to stay. Wonderful welcoming hosts, and exceptional food. It’s very traditional but also luxurious and the open fires in the restaurant and individually decorated rooms are such a treat. I would highly recommended this hotel. "
