"The property was fantastic. We really enjoyed the little touches like a bed for our dog and poo bags and bowls left for him and the kitchen was well equipped and towels included. My only two slight criticisms were that the babies cot that we asked for wasn’t very secure at the bottom (it felt like it had a piece missing so it’s sun at one side) and it was very difficult to find somewhere to check in. Granted, we arrived in the evening, but after some wondering about we found it. We had a really nice time though, and would definitely go again! "

"This is the second time I have stayed at The Pheasant. Lovely room, fantastic food and great location. Friendly staff too. Only negative is no draws or full-length hanging space for clothes in the room. If I’d been staying a few days I’d have missed this. As it was I could live out of my suitcase for one night. "Stayed one night only. The room was comfortable. Even though the heating was not on due to it supposedly being summer, as the room was a little cold we were able to turn on an electric wall heater to take the chill off the room & a blow heater in the bathroom. The quality and pricing of food and drink in the bar were excellent. The cooked breakfast was included, which was also delicious. Would definitely stay again."
