"We absolutely loved our stay! It was an incredible getaway. The house was exceptional, clean and quaint and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spa like shower excellent! We didn’t want to get out! We loved the doggies, they are so friendly and good and it was fun playing with them. We can’t wait to return and we are already suggesting to family and friends! Also David and Jung are awesome!!! They gave us a lot of suggestions for restaurants, hikes and spas. It is apparent that they take a lot of pride in their property. We were extremely comfortable. The drive in to the house is very pretty, and the creek behind the house is much larger than we expected and so beautiful! We hope to come back! "

"We had a one night stay here last weekend. We were very warmly welcomed and were given detailed instructions on the services and directions to the room we chose. It was quiet but very convenient as there were many restaurants just 2 minutes drive away. Honestly, before choosing this place to stay for our trip, I read the comments from many other guests about this place. There were quite a few mixed opinions about the service, the rooms were not well soundproofed, etc. So when I arrived here I was a little worried because I had experienced a place where they were not enthusiastic in their work as well as treated me with racial discrimination. However, I was very happy and felt very peaceful when Carmel Valley Lodge and Resort was very warm in their service and professional in their business and treatment of their customers. We were so happy to wake up one morning in their breakfast room, a woman welcomed us very enthusiastically and prepared simple but nutritious dishes for us. We had a trip to explore the beautiful coastal roads and had a peaceful and comfortable place to rest. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us, prepared the bedroom, and served us a delicious breakfast at Carmel Valley Lodge and Resort."

"I booked this cabin for a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. It was so comfortable and secluded so we had plenty of privacy. The cabin had everything we needed and the fireplace heated the place up immediately. We brought our dog and he loved it too. You can hear the river which only added to the wonderful ambience. We’ll definitely be back!"

"We had a great weekend here. The view of the valley is incredible, the house clean and well stocked. Great secluded retreat, with Carmel Valley village just a 10-minute drive. "

"Dont let the outside fool you! This is a revamped 1970's style motel that sparkles when you enter the room.We wish we could have stayed longer. The pool was not heated, so we were unable to enjoy it. We did use the h I t tub and it was great. Nice large fridge in the room and plenty of coffe fixings provided. The room was HUGE! The bed was very comfy. The bathroom continues to be mid-century modern. Nothing fancy, but very large with an old fashioned heat lamp. We were quite happy with it. The grounds are well taken care of and there were numerous citrus trees and blooming foillage on the property. Each room has its own private balcony with fencing surrounding it. We will go back and stay longer next time. Loved it! COMFY!"

"My husband and I and our 2 small dogs enjoyed our time here for our baby-moon getaway :) Our cabin was super cozy and clean and had just about everything we needed!We appreciate Joseph for being so kind and coming out in the mornings to check on us and asked if there was anything we neededWe are definitely ready to come back again when our little one arrives"
