Plenty of things to do and see within 1 hour drive in any direction and the small-town charm of the Valley was a nice change of pace. We were able to do all our favorite things we have done in the past from this location with very little time wasted driving. The Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row, Big Sur, 17-mile drive and of course our favorite restaurants and some new favorites added to the list. So much more depending on what you like but Hiking, beaches, wineries and quaint farmers markets it's all there to be explored with little effort The host gives you a lot of information so even if you don't know the area you will have plenty of information to review to make your stay more enjoyable."
