"Small all-inclusive resort offers a unique Caribbean experience. Picturesque individual cottages are peppered on a hill and offer different attractions. We had sunset room 16, which is midway between the two sides of the resort, and has a nice balcony and outdoor shower. The beaches on either side of the resort are unreal - turquoise waters and fine white sand perfect for swimming, crazy scenery – these beaches are some of the finest I’ve seen. "It was great over all but you have to have a rental car. Basic but very good. Have the most beautiful beach on the island near by- Deep Bay Beach. There is a guy there on the beach that cooks you a fish that he just caught in the ocean. Also, there is a nice short but challenging track to Fort Barrington with a breathtaking view on the Bay. "

"We loved our stay here! Tranquil oasis with a lovely pool, huge rooms and comfy beds, and delicious fresh fruit and coffee with a view every morning. Walkable to Dickenson Bay in about 7 minutes. We hired a car (would recommend) and was a great base to visit other parts of the island and near lots of good restaurants. Jackie was great and helped us with restaurant bookings and recommendations. The place was very clean and was a great alternative to the big resorts. "

"Lovely small hotel tucked away at Falmouth harbour, nice, quiet and relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast delivered to the room could have been better quality. The hotel is a bit of a walk away from the main road and transport facilities, so need a car to get around. Otherwise enjoyed the stay for five nights, would certainly recommend it for a couple or family"

"This is a quiet, relaxing and quaint property. There are not a great deal of amenities and there is a fee that they property charges additional for a taxi without disclosing but I appreciate the service offered. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again "

"The place is not modern however it was nice for what we needed. The water was hot, the a/c worked. The location was centrally located. We walked to Dickerson Bay which was about 20 minutes. The cab to town was $20 and it’s about 20 mins from the airport or a $25 cab ride. "

"Jolly Beach i undergoing a renovation and appears to be working towards an excellent all-inclusive experience. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The facilities were perhaps a litle dated but were more than adequate. The setting itself is quite beautiful."

"Nice property, clean and quiet.. we had a relaxing time . Staff are all very nice and helpful. Room furniture’s are somewhat outdated but otherwise clean and spacious. I like the fact that our room was check and cleaned twice a day. Beach area is private and really nice and calm waters except from our last 2 days that seaweeds invaded the shore and somewhat smelly.. I cannot recommend the Italian restaurant on the resort! I have it a 3/5 rating as the food is not really good. The beach bar/resto is better to spend the day. Main resto by the beach is ok also same as their menu but breakfast is not that great. I didnt expect that kind of breakfast selections and set up on a nice resort and on the price we paid. Fruits are covered with a metal lid that has hole in the middle but majority of poeple taking that lid off are touching the fruits when they’re trying to open that lid. These fruits could have been served in a better way. We ended up taking their taxi service to eat out in town x3 because there is more choices but taxi service are not cheap. I would rate this resort 3.8 out 5 and probably would not recommend at this time to our friends but was told also that they are having major renovations this year for 2 months so we’ll see after that. "

Tropical paradise

"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The garden is beautiful to lounge around in, but also very close to southside beaches. We had an issue with the stove not working and Nigel was there within an hour to troubleshoot and got it working again! Also the two bathrooms and laundry room make it so convenient if youre traveling with multiple people. Private driveway parking so uou can feel safe if you have a rental car.. Tulip was a lovely host, was always easy to reach on whatsapp, and makes a killer rum cake!"

"We had the most relaxing time at Birds & Bees. The cottage is delightful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is wonderful and watching the sun rise everyday was so beautiful. I was recovering from surgery so couldn’t enjoy the pool but it looked so inviting! Janie and Geoffrey are superb hosts and go out of their way to make your holiday memorable."

Luxury 5-Bedroom Villa with Oceanview Infinity Pool & Spectacular Sunsets

Perfect location to explore Antigua

"Words cannot begin to express how happy we were with our stay at Fort Shelley! This was our family's first trip to the island and we spent New Year's week exploring and enjoying as much as we could. The villa's location midway between Jolly Beach and English Harbor was perfect - there were lots of restaurants and groceries within easy driving distance.The house was clean and well equipped. The views are incredible - especially the sunset. The infinity pool is AMAZING. In fact, that is the only issue I have with the property - it was so nice it was REALLY hard to find the motivation to leave for our planned activities. :-) Our hosts were excellent and ensured that we had everything we needed during our trip. They also saved the day when I left our passports behind - making sure we got them in time to make our flight back home. I have never experienced such service and friendliness - thank you Andrez and Nair!!I have already recommended this property to several friends and family members and cannot wait for an excuse to return!"

Perfect family escape

"Carolyn and Trevor were wonderful hosts throughout our holiday. The apartment was well stocked, spotless and comfortable. We were looking for something away from the hustle and bustle, and the apartment was the perfect escape for our family of four (kids are both pre-teens).Morning coffee on the balcony with a view of the ocean, a lovely garden to read in, a five-minute walk to the best swimming beach in Antigua — what more could one ask for? There’s a little shop, Aunt Gina’s, by the beach where you can pick up essentials and (more importantly) get great BBQ. Carolyn was incredibly helpful; any question would be responded to promptly with numerous options for restaurants, shopping, activities, etc.I’d recommend hiring a car to make it easy to explorer the rest of the Island. Would also recommend ordering run cake from Carolyn’s sister — they make delicious gifts to take back home.One of our family’s favorite vacations. We hope to be back!"
