"There were a number of issues with this property. First it was not the property shown in the Expedia photo, nor was it in the location indicated on Expedia. Second, there was no remote control for the air conditioner unit in the main living area downstairs so it could not be turned on. Due to the extreme heat outside the two units in the upstairs bedrooms struggled to cool those rooms, and the whole unit was very uncomfortable to be in. Third, the customer service was appalling. "It was great over all but you have to have a rental car. Basic but very good. Have the most beautiful beach on the island near by- Deep Bay Beach. There is a guy there on the beach that cooks you a fish that he just caught in the ocean. Also, there is a nice short but challenging track to Fort Barrington with a breathtaking view on the Bay. "

"I liked so many things about Curtain Bluff. The beach area is beautiful and all of the activities are within easy reach. The food was diverse and delicious. A new dinner menu every evening with wonderful choices. Everybody was extremely friends, including the people who were also vacationing there. I loved the open-ness of the public areas, so it was cool and comfortable without being air conditioned. It was a great spot to relax or keep busy."

"I really enjoyed my overnight stay here. The room is very space full, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was plentiful. The staff were friendly and the historical location was wonderful. The beautiful Pigeon beach is about 15 mins walk and the shops and restaurants are very closed too."

"Unbeatable views of English Harbour and Nelson’s dockyard in a small super friendly setting. 5 mins walk (down hill) to restaurants and supermarket. Less than 10 mins to Nelson’s Dockyard and approx 15- 20 mins to pigeon point beach. The rooms- beds comfy, great power shower in bathroom, good air con. We had a fridge in our room but no kettle but we (and other guests) had 24 hour access to free cold and hot water from the breakfast area for tea/coffee. The pool was great and cleaned every day....

"The Siboney Beach Club has a great location in Dickenson Bay, close to a white sandy beach and not too far away from the Airport and St. John’s. If you are the type of person that likes to explore an area on foot, then this will be difficult apart from the beach. You will need to take taxi everywhere. "The property is big , poolside bars , the beach is beautiful! The food was great the staff were so pleasant and helpful any hour. Now the room ehhh they are a bit tiny but for the price it’s not bad. You come on vacation to enjoy the island so you’re not in your room anyway. It should be only to sleep lol so it did suffice for me! I loved and will be returning!!!"

Milk and Honey is Cream of the Crop!

"What a great villa! With Caribbean vibe- We are 3 adults that have holidayed in villas in Europe and the Caribbean for winter and summer sunshine.What do we look for? A private pool is top priority, followed by at least two en-suite bedrooms, well equipped – a view and bars and restaurants within walking distance.However, that usually involves a hill and a few stops on the way back from the restaurant to catch our breath – NOT HERE!!Milk & Honey is an easy ten-minute walk from the beach, a good supermarket and a choice of bars and restaurants – yes the road is not smooth tarmac the whole way – but we are all in our seventies and had no trouble – the villa even supplies two torches!Well equipped – comfy beds – huge fridge – great seating areas for eating and sundowners – including a sunset view. Plentiful sunbeds and a gas BBQ.The star of the show however, is Phil – the host! What a star. Quick and communicative, we had great local info sent to us on booking – he kept in touch and answered any query by return. Absolutely 5 *****Antigua was lovely, good beaches – we took the local bus! – an adventure in itself, very friendly. Great food at Miracles and Fox house especially, an island tour with Terry was fun and informative, we bought supplies from local stalls and the supermarket – sometimes what you wanted wasn’t there – but it was the next day.But what a joy – to return to our own Milk & Honey, relax by the pool with excellent local rum!"

Great location to beautiful beach

"Calabash Villa was ideally located with less than 10 minute walk to beautiful Jolly Beach, restaurants and grocery store. The villa was spacious with large bedrooms and eat-in kitchen. While the living room was a bit small, we hardly spent time in it and opted to sit outside on beautiful patio. Both the owner Alan and property manager Jovanna were gracious hosts and responsive to all questions. "

"This resort is stunning! The units are gorgeous and the resort sits on one of the prettiest beaches in Antigua! We traveled with my family and had a studio and 3BR unit with a pool. The units are well equipped with GE and LG appliances-no expense spared! The staff was lovely and accommodating-special shout out to David on the beach who kept the pina coladas coming and was so friendly and lovely! A couple of critiques would be to improve the breakfast… for this level of facility it needs a step-up. When you spend that amount of money per night you expect more (food and coffee were cold most days) that we opted to skip it on our last day. Music - it would be great if there was some music playing around the bar/beach. It was too quiet and at times, even a little boring. Also, when people check in, tell them about the gift-shop, golf simulator and other amenities. We didn’t know about these things until we left on the last day. I would def stay there again - so that says a lot. All-in-all a lovely time! "

Newly renovated villa 5 minutes to beach

"We just spent a lovely comfortable week at our rental. Had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Kitchen had necessities, LR comfortable, deck even better. Loved the Tree Frog “gweeps!”in the evening. Bedrooms spacious! We only needed the master & it was comfortable. Met our lovely hostess after arrival to check all was in order. We rented a car, but also took a private tour of popular spots! Golf carts also available for rent for in the compound. People very friendly, helped with directions & offers of “follow me!”when lost. Street signs are scarce & google gave up at one point! All an adventure, not lost, just exploring!! Our Taxi driver day one was a real gift. Anik, beautiful young lady. Booked our day tour with her & return to airport for departure. On time, every time & a real joy ! Her number on WhatsApp, 1 268 782 3857. You won’t be disappointed! Weather at 28, humid after rain. What’s not to love! But! It’s expensive!! Just so you know! "

Lovely stay

"We had a great stay at this property. Communication was good with Alyson. Property was clean and inviting. The pool area was great to use and was very quiet and private. If we return to Antigua we would stay at this property again. We learnt that the property next door is also owned by the same owners so would be great if travelling with family or friends."
